Departure for the city of Al-Minya which is 280 km south of Cairo. Arrival at El-Minya

Beni Hassan is a cemetery from the Middle Kingdom (21st to 17th centuries BC) and is located approximately 20 kilometers south of Minya, in the region known as Middle Egypt.
There are over a thousand graves in the cemetery, which were dug out of the rock on the edge of a cliff. Mainly the governors and the elite of the region were buried here.
