Arrival in Cairo

Reception at Cairo International Airport by our representative. Transfer to the hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. Our representative will provide you with all the information you need to enjoy your trip. And accommodation.

 Breakfast and departure for the Visit to the Giza Pyramids, which includes the three famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mecquerinos, especially the one of Cheops, the only one of the seven wonders of the ancient world that has survived. Visit to the enigmatic Sphinx (with the body of a lion and a human face) and the Temple of the Valley (built next to the Pyramid of Khafre). We will visit a cotton and papyrus factory where we will receive an explanation of its history and the production process. Lunch in a typical restaurant. We will visit the Egyptian Museum, the most important museum in Egypt. Located in Cairo, the capital of the country, the museum's collection comprises an immense range of more than 120,000 Egyptian antiquities. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Optional: (entrance to the Mycerinian pyramid; entrance to the pyramid of Cheops with visit to the solar barge; 20 min camel ride in the Pyramids area; dinner on the floating cruise), camel ride in the Pyramids area.

 Breakfast and departure for a tour of the Citadel of Salah ELDin, located on a small mountain, Muqqattam. It was the refuge of all rulers from Salah ELDin  in the 12th century to Mohamed Ali in the 19th century. Visit to the alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali, built in 1824, finishing its construction in 1848. Its height makes it easily distinguishable from any corner of the city, giving the feeling of a certain political power. Lunch in a typical restaurant. Tour through the area of Old Cairo, called the Coptic Quarter, where the three religions converge and meet the Hanging Church, Abu Serga Church and Ben Izra Synagogue. Visit to Khan El Khalili Grand Bazaar. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel, OPTIONAL departure to Alexandria, the mystical city on the shores of the Mediterranean. visit to the most interesting places in the city: the Pompey's Pillar , the serapeion, the most beautiful temple in alexandria, the catacombs of kom el shukaffa and along its maritime walk, passing through the old fishermen's quarter. Panoramic visit to the Qaitbay fort built at the end of the s. xv in the ancient location of the pharaoh of alexandria. visit the new alexandria library, a unique building with beautiful modern shapes, rebuilt under the patronage of unesco. Entrance included and visit of the small museum attached. Lunch at the local restaurant. free time in the city and return to cairo. And overnight at the Cairo hotel.
