Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Reception at Cairo International Airport by our representative. Transfer to the hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle. Our representative will provide you with all the information you need to enjoy your trip.
Day 2: The Pyramids - Egyptian Museum
Breakfast. Pick up from the hotel by our representative. Enjoy your package in Egypt by visiting one of the seven wonders of the world (the pyramid of Cheops, the first and great Pyramid of King Jufu), the visit includes the other Pyramids of Giza: Khafre (the second Pyramid that is attributed to the King Jafraa, son of King Jufu) and Menkaure (the third and smallest Pyramid of King Menkara, son of King Jafraa and grandson of King Jufu); the Sphinx (with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh) and the Temple of the Valley (built next to the Pyramid of Khafre). Lunch in a good quality local restaurant. Next Visit the Egyptian Museum, which contains the largest collection of monuments from the pharaonic period of ancient Egypt, as well as a room that includes the treasures of the young king Tutankhamun. Back to the hotel.
Day 3: Luxor Temple - Karnak Temple (Cruise)
Breakfast. Transfer to Cairo Airport to take a domestic flight to Luxor. Assistance upon arrival in Luxor. Transfer by private air-conditioned vehicle to the Nile cruise. Lunch on board. Visit to the Temple of Luxor, it was made during the New Kingdom. It was linked to the Temple of Karnak by an avenue flanked by sphinxes. It was built mainly by two pharaohs, Amenhotep III (built the interior area) and Ramses II (finished the temple). Visit the Temple of Karnak, in ancient Egypt especially during the New Kingdom, it was the most influential religious center. Day 4: Valley of the Kings - Hatchepsut Temple ... (Cruise)
Breakfast on board. Visit to the Valley of the Kings was the place,
during the New Kingdom, where the pharaohs were buried in hypogea.
Here the kings of the 18th, 19th and 20th dynasties were buried,
as well as some queens, princes, nobles and even animals.
Visit the Hatchepsut Temple, the unique temple of Queen Hatshepsut (18th dynasty), of the highest value and monumental prestige of those built in the valley and the only one of its kind in all of Egypt. Visit the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch on board. Navigation to Edfu. Dinner and accommodation on board.
Day 5: Temple of Horus - Temple of Sobek (Cruise)
Breakfast on board. Transfer by horse-drawn carriage to visit the Temple of Horus, dedicated to the god Horus, it is one of the best preserved temples in Egypt and was called Mesen, “The place of the harpoon”, “The House of Ra”. Navigation to KomOmbo. Lunch on board. Visit the Temple of the god Sobek, an unusual building, completely symmetrical, with two entrances, two hypostyle halls and two shrines. This is because it is dedicated to two gods: the left side to the falcon god Haroeris (Horus the old or the great) and the right to Sobek (a local crocodile-headed deity). Navigation to Aswan. Day 6: Temple of Philae (Cruise)
