Watch the sunrise from the top of Mount Sinai on a hiking trip from Sharm el Sheikh to one of Egypt's highest mountains. You will ascend to the 7,497-foot (2,285-mt.) Peak In the darkness before dawn, you will see the first light illuminate the chapel and mosque at the top of the mountain, then you will descend to the 6th century St. Catherine's Monastery, where Moses has seen the burning bush, as it is believed. With round-trip transportation from Sharm el-sheik, this is a great way to experience Mount Sinai and St. Catherine, even if you have limited time in Egypt.

At the scheduled time, the representative of our agency will wait for you in the reception of your hotel. departure at night towards Mount Moses, to ascend to the mythical point where according to tradition, the prophet received the tables of the law. the ascent (3 hours) takes place before dawn. once at the summit, you will witness an unforgettable sunrise. descent and visit of the monastery of Santa Catalina.
The monastery also has a large collection of codices. In fact, it is the second largest in the world, second only to the Vatican Archives. Already outside the temple, we will visit the burning bush in which Moses had the appearance of the angel of the Lord, according to the Bible. We will also know the well where Moses met his wife.
After the visit to Santa Catalina, we will start the way back to Sharm el-Sheikh, passing by the lunch restaurant in Dahab, then we will return around 2:00 p.m.
