The Pyramids - Egyptian Museum
Breakfast. Pick up from the hotel by our representative. Enjoy your package in Egypt by visiting one of the seven wonders of the world (the pyramid of Cheops, the first and great Pyramid of King Jufu), the visit includes the other Pyramids of Giza: Khafre (the second Pyramid that is attributed to the King Jafraa, son of King Jufu) and Menkaure (the third and smallest Pyramid of King Menkara, son of King Jafraa and grandson of King Jufu); the Sphinx (with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh) and the Valley Temple (built next to the Pyramid of Khafre) .Lunch in a good quality local restaurant, then Visit the Egyptian Museum, which contains the largest collection of monuments from the pharaonic times of ancient Egypt, plus a room that includes the treasures of the young king Tutankhamun. Return to the hotel and accommodation.
Cairo Free day
Breakfast buffet. Free day, possibility of a full day visit to the city of Cairo: the Saladin Citadel with its Alabaster Mosque, the Khan el Khalili Bazaar and the Coptic Quarter. Overnight accommodation in Cairo.
Cairo | The Sources Of Moıses | Santa Catalina (Breakfast and Dinner)
Breakfast buffet. Departure to the Sinai Peninsula via the Ahmed Hamdy tunnel under the Suez Canal, passing from Africa to Asia. We will visit Ayun Musa or the sources of Moisés (Mara) and then leave for the city of Santa Catalina. Arrival at the hotel. Dinner and accommodation in Sta. cathrine
Santa Catalina | The Mount of Moisès | Arava | Petra (Breakfast and Dinner)
Breakfast buffet. In the early morning departure to Mount Moses or Mount Sinai (Mount Horeb) of 2,285 m. high where the prophet Moses received from God the Tables of the Law while the Hebrew people camped at the foot of the mountain. From the top of the mountain we can see the sunrise and the Monte de Santa Catalina, which is the highest peak in the peninsula at 2,637 m. Going down the mountain we will visit the Santa Catalina Monastery (if possible) located at 1,570 m. high with its impressive walls built between 527 and 565 by order of Emperor Justinian in the biblical place of the burning bush. The Monastery owes its name to Saint Catherine, an Alexandrian martyr who died in 395, whose body carried by angels would be discovered 5 centuries later on the top of the mountain that bears her name. It is the smallest diocese in the world and the oldest active monastery. Its library has the oldest manuscripts in the world after the Vatican. Return to the hotel and at the scheduled time, departure to the border point where we will leave Egypt. Arrival in Aravavia Eilat, transfer to the Jordanian border. Petra | Amman (Breakfast, Dinner)
Breakfast buffet. Departure to the Pink City, capital of the Nabateans and confirmed as a Wonder of the World in 2007. We will visit the most important and representative monuments sculpted in the rocks by the Nabateans. The Obelisk Tomb, El Siq, a 1km-long canyon where at the end of your tour you will discover the impressive and well-known Treasury (Al Khazneh), the street of columns, the colored tombs and royal tombs. Amman | Madaba | Nebo | Allenby | Jerusalem (Breakfast)
Breakfast buffet. Departure for Madaba, better known as the City of Mosaics located just 30 km from the Jordanian capital. There we will visit the Church of San Jorge, where the oldest known mosaic map of the Holy Land was found and made in 571 AD. Then we will visit Mount Nebo, a place of great importance for all Christians, since it was the last place visited by Moses and from where the prophet could appreciate the Promised Land that he would never visit. We continue towards the Allenby Border. Departure for Jerusalem with an English-speaking driver. Accommodation in Jerusalem.
Optional Tour To Dead Sea And Masada (Breakfast)
Buffet breakfast. Free day or optional tour to the Dead Sea with the following schedule: Ascent by cable rail to Masada, the last fortification of the Jews in their fight against the Romans. Visit to the excavations, Herod's palace and the Synagogue. Wonderful view of the Roman Field and the Dead Sea. If time and weather permit, we will have free time to enjoy a bath in the salty waters of the Dead Sea. Return to Jerusalem. Accommodation in Jerusalem
Modern City | Ein Karem | Bethlehem (Breakfast)
Breakfast buffet. Departure to visit the New City of Jerusalem. Visit to the Shrine of the Book in the Israel Museum, where the Dead Sea manuscripts and the model representing the City of Jerusalem in the time of Jesus are exposed. View of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. From there to the Holocaust Museum (YadVashem Memorial). We will continue to EinKarem to visit the sanctuaries of the Visitation of Mary to her Cousin Elizabeth and of Saint John the Baptist. In the afternoon we will travel to Bethlehem. We will visit the Church of the Nativity, the Grotto of the Birth, the Chapels of San Jerónimo and San José. Return to Jerusalem. Accommodation in Jerusalem.
