After picking you up at the hotel or boat where you are staying, we will leave the historic center behind to head to the Aswan Dam.
The Aswan Dam is a mega construction from the 20th century, completed in 1970 and built to save Egypt from the annual floods caused by the Nile, the longest river in the world.
Our next stop will be the Unfinished Obelisk, located in a red granite quarry exploited during the time of Queen Hatshepsut.
This obelisk was designed with the aim of being the largest obelisk in Ancient Egypt, 42 meters high and weighing 1,200 tons.
Leaving the quarry behind, we will head to the island of Agilika, between the old and the new Aswan Dam, where the beautiful Temple of Philae is located.
This temple is dedicated to the goddess Isis and is one of the 4 places where the legend of Isis, Osiris, and Horus takes place.
After the tour, we will take you back to the starting point.
