  • Visit to the western side of the city, where you can get up close to the Royal Cemetery of 62 pharaohs – the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut which was built by the architects of the New Empire during the 15th century BC in Deir El-Bahari.

  • Visit to the Temple of Luxor, was made during the New Kingdom. It was linked to the Karnak Temple by an avenue lined with sphinxes. It was built by two pharaohs fundamentally, Amenhotep III (built the interior area) and Ramses II (finished the temple). Visit to the Temple of Karnak, in ancient Egypt especially during the New Kingdom, it was the most influential religious center. The main temple was dedicated to the cult of the god Amun, but as in other Egyptian temples, other divinities were also venerated.

We had a wonderful day in Luxor this May, and our guide Khaled made the experience truly unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Valley of the Queens. His explanations were detailed and engaging, and he answered all of our questions with patience and enthusiasm. It’s clear that he has a deep passion for Egyptian history, which made the tour even more enjoyable. In addition to his expertise, Khaled was very organized and attentive. He made sure we were comfortable throughout the day, kept everything on schedule, and gave us enough time to explore each site without feeling rushed. We felt very well taken care of and appreciated his friendly and professional attitude. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Luxor!

Excellent experience

This was a private tour for just our family. Our Reflections Travel guide, Rashody, was excellent - we would have been lost at these sites without him. He was easy to understand, knowledgeable, interesting and gave us plenty of unrushed time to visit the sites on our own after he finished giving us his tour. He had a gentle, pleasant way about him and even had a little sense of humor. He was accompanied by a safe, polite driver who had a clean, newer model car. This was our second day with Rashody and his driver. We were glad to be paired with them again. We had no logistical, scheduling or other problems with them. We enjoyed the Valley of Kings, Hatsheput temple and Medinet Habu. He took us to a local Egyptian restaurant for lunch as well. We saw other tour buses there so it's a tourist destination that seems vetted by the tour companies. He asked if we wanted to go to an alabaster store, which we did.

HOT Hot Hot !

Spectacular day. Arrived in Luxor we were greeted by our guide, who spoke very good Italian, and who was a great help to appreciate even more all that this day offered us. Beautiful temples, tombs full of hieroglyphs and frescoes... in short, the history seen on the books at your fingertips!! The only flaw, the heat but it is also the one that allows you not to make endless lines that are easily found at other times.
