Aswan to Abu Simbel is an unforgettable journey that begins in the early hours of the morning, around 4:00 AM. After being picked up from your hotel or boat in Aswan, you’ll head out on a 3-hour trip, reaching the temples just in time to witness a breathtaking desert sunrise.

• After about 3 hours of travel, arrive at Abu Simbel, the famous complex made up of two temples carved into the rock.

  • The construction took about 20 years and was done during the reign of Ramses II.
• The temples are excellently preserved as they were buried under the sand until the 19th century.
